"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities." -Dr. Seuss

Creating the monster
Frankenstein is starting to get interesting vein that the monster was just made. What interested me about the monster was that Victor sees him as a beast, but as he first described the monster he said it had white teeth and beautiful hair. Also about the monster it rather confused me when he ran away, but I understand why he did. If some monster was watching over me as I slept I would have ran away as well, and I think I would have paced just like Victor because I would not be going back to sleep after having a traumatic incident. If this had happened to me I probably would have had a heart attack though from sheer terror. Then to find your friend and get a letter from home is just adding to the weirdness. The letter was from Victor's cousin Elizabeth, it described a girl named Justine, and how she got away from her mother an is now living with the Frankenstein's. Then after Clerval showed Victor that letter Victor's father sent another letter telling him about the death of his brother William. This made Victor want to go back home more than he already felt. When he did go home he went to go look at William's body, and when he did he saw his monster and decided it was he who killed him. I ind that unfair to the monster because he did nothing to deserve being accused of the murder. It could have been him though, but just making assumptions is what led to Justine's execution. I feel bad for the monster, but also I feel bad for Victor. The monster was created, and just probably doesn't even know what he is doing, and Victor is just terrified because he has no idea what he has created. Shelly has so far amazed me, I hope she keeps it up.
